Research Grant (with Lewis Jonker, IWRM Programme, University of Western Cape), Assessing stakeholder participation in water management reform, South Africa, solicited research grant from the South African Water Research Commission (2008-09, R1 million i.e. USD 145,000).

Research Grant, Cross Sectoral Commons Governance in Southern Africa, funded by the EU through INCO-DEV (a multi-institution research project coordinated by Prof. Doug Wilson at IFM Denmark), (2007-08) (HOORC to receive 80,000 Euro).
